The UG, PG and CDEP Coordination Office coordinates undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing and distance education programs at Wollega Institute of Technology (WIT). The Office supports academic planning, student registration, class scheduling, academic progress monitoring, quality assurance, and coordination with departments and the Registrar Office across the Institute’s different learning modalities.

The Coordinator oversees the coordination of academic programs, follows up on student and departmental activities, and works with relevant university offices to support effective academic service delivery.

Undergraduate (UG) Programs

Coordinates undergraduate academic activities across approved learning modalities: .
Student enrollment, orientation, and academic progression;
Class scheduling, classroom allocation, and laboratory coordination;
Grade reporting, practical assessments, and graduation clearance.

Coordinates MSc and PhD academic activities, research progress, and postgraduate requirements:
Admission, registration, and entrance examinations:
Course scheduling and instructor assignments:
Research adviser coordination, progress reviews, seminars, and thesis defenses:

Continuing and Distance Education Program (CDEP)

Coordinates flexible learning programs to expand access to engineering and technology education:
Registration and class follow-up for evening, weekend, summer, and distance programs, as applicable;
Instructor allocation and scheduling for alternative learning modalities;
Tuition fee follow-up, budget monitoring, and support for program sustainability.
