Call for Scholarship (Only for TVET Teachers and Industry Engineers)

Wollega University, College of Engineering and Technology, Institutional Network for Design, Manufacturing Education and Training (INDMET) project office invites 6 (six) TVET teachers and 4 (four) Industry Engineers for MSc program in Manufacturing Engineering. The program is funded by NORHED II from NORAD through the INDMET project, which is a collaboration project between University of Stavanger (UiS) in Norway, Wollega and Jimma Universities in Ethiopia. The project covers expenses related to tuition fee, dormitory and meal services only which is given by Wollega University.

Qualification Requirements

To be considered for enrollment in this Master’s program, the applicant must:

• Be recent graduate of governmental institutions (2010-2013E.C) with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and above for female and 2.75 and above for male.
• Have strong and relevant background in the Mechanical Engineering discipline
• Satisfy MSc admission requirements of Wollega University
• Sign a written agreement to complete the MSc program within four summer programs
• Sign a written agreement to pay back all the expenses in any case of dropout
• Pass entrance examination to be administered by the project team
• Bring support letters from their respective TVET Colleges and Industries

For the same qualifications and equal evaluation results, Female candidates and candidates from emerging regions will be given priority.

Entrance Exam date: June 24, 2022

Note:

Candidates who succeeded in all the requirements should submit the official transcript of his/her BSc degree to Wollega University, Engineering and Technology College registrar office.
