Training and Curriculum Review Workshop (August 01-06/2022)
The College of Engineering and Technology, Wallagga University, has organized a week workshop conducting from August 01 to August 06 of 2022. The workshop aims to address two major issues; Training and curriculum Review.
The training workshop involves two training sessions that will be run in parallel on the titles “Research Project Grant Writing” organized for academic staff and “3D Modeling and Simulation Based Product Development” for participants invited from TVET teachers and Industry Engineers.
The training on “Research Project Grant Writing “ is planned to be given for all Academic staff members of the College of Engineering and Technology by Professor Hirpa Lemu Gelgele, a renowned Professor at Stavanger University of Norway, and a team leader of INDMET Project. Hence all academic staff members of CET are cordially invited to attend the training program that is planned to be undertaken on August 1, 2022 at ETC-Smart Room (Block 39).
The training workshop on the title “3D modeling and Simulation Based Product Development” is organized for selected participants from TVET teachers and Industrial Engineers. In the training workshop the participants are expected to be acquainted with hands-on experiences and Practical tips that will highly help them in their Practical training careers and in their real world product development careers. Hence all the selected participants from TVET and Industry Engineers are cordially invited to attend the training program that is planned to be conducted from August 02-06/2022 at ETC-Smart Room (Block 35).
The curriculum review is planned to be conducted from August 02-05/2022, and it includes review of a few new curriculum and some existing curriculum on Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs those were prepared and submitted to the college for the review workshop. Accordingly scholars from various institutions whose disciplines are relevant to the curriculum are invited for external review. Hence all concerned staff members are cordially invited to attend the review session and share their views and comments.
